Essential oil for skin softening  are suitable by using the essential oil of camomile, patchouli, sandalwood and a mixture of all three materials. Using  essential oil for skin softening  will give us a better impact if it is followed with good nutrition. Essential fatty acids are the fats that make yours smoother and looking younger. Don’t use it for longer than a week at a time to avoid becoming sensitive to it.

The most common application of sandalwood essential oil for skin care is to create a clay mask base. Prepare the following ingredients: one teaspoon of bentonite clay, half teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, and 5 drops of sandalwood. Simply combine all ingredients together and if you are aiming for a more creamy consistency, you can add more of either vinegar or clay. Once you have the mask ready, simply put it over your face and neck. Let it stay there for at least 5 minutes before rinsing it off. For better results, perform this once weekly.

Among the most interesting applications of essential oil for skin treatment is the facial aromatherapy. For instance, the facial steam is one effective means of revitalizing the facial skin. It is a type of deep cleansing where a few drops of specific essential oil are mixed with milk or honey in a bowl of hot water. The vapor penetrates the facial skin pores and absorbs by the bloodstream.  Rosemary:  Rosemary is a really good all-purpose essential oil for skin, so it’s another good one to start with if you’re not sure, or if you’re making the face oil for someone else and aren’t quite sure what their needs are. It has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties so it’s good for fighting acne. It’s also beneficial for healing blemishes, improving skin tone and antiaging.  The base oil in the perfume recipe will safely dilute and carry the essential oil for skin applications and reduce essential oil evaporation rates; the essential oil(s) is the source of the perfume’s aroma. Base oils and essential oils may be available in local health food stores or purchased through Internet retailers.

Considered a miracle oil, helichrysum may be the single most important essential oil for skin care and regeneration.  it’s also one of the most expensive, and worth every penny.   Not only calming to the skin (anti-inflammatory), but it multiplies the production of collagen (big, big, BIG deal), eliminates free radicals (toxins), activates cutaneous microcirculation, and inhibits lipid peroxidation, which can prevent wrinkles. powerful anti-inflammatory, skin rejuvenating and regenerating, analgesic, used for wounds and scar-tissue,  and rheumatoid arthritis.  For extra dry skin like this, I’d like to use oil to moisturize.

You may use vegetables oil mixed with a few drops of essential oil. Patchouli oil is said as one of the best essential oil for skin moisturizer. It’s also good for relaxing tight muscles and mood lifting. Try patchouli oil mixed in a vegetable carrier oils such as canola oil or sunflower oil. Or if using the oil is too greasy for you, you may use a carrier cream or lotion base. You may use unscented body lotion you can find in the dept stores.  The seed of wine grapes is extracted to produce grapeseed oil, another popular carrier oil used in aromatherapy. Aside from its culinary purposes, grapeseed oil is a very popular type of essential oil for skin care. When used in massages, grapeseed oil introduces moisturizing properties into your skin. Plus, it is an ideal type of oil to use for skin repair as it consists of antiseptic and astringent properties.  Lavender’s therapeutic and anti fungal qualities, have made it a popular choice for skin care. It has been considered effective for numerous body conditions from acne to wrinkles and blemishes.

When using lavender essential oil for skin problems issues like eczema and psoriasis, aromatherapists recommend adding  a few drops of lavender oil to a base carrier oil such as a massage oil. It is wise however to check that the carrier oil is a natural product prior to applying it as a lotion to moisturize the body.  I can’t help wondering why they didn’t include any topical use if their object was to discover whether or not the skin would show accelerated healing power from exposure to the oils. If you’re studying lavender essential oil in particular, it would be ridiculous not to include topical application, as that is how one uses lavender essential oil for skin repair (even if you’re not an aroma therapist). If you’re studying lemon for wound repair, you would be looking at the juice of the lemon and not the essential oil, and you would be studying whether or not it helps stop bleeding.
